What does “local AI” actually mean?
The model runs on hardware you control — your office, your server rack or a private cloud — instead of sending your data to a vendor's API. You own the models, the prompts and the data. If the internet goes down, your AI keeps working.
Is my data safe with A-Tech?
Yes. We deploy on your infrastructure, keep data inside your network and design for least-privilege access. For sensitive environments we can run fully air-gapped, with no external calls at all.
How much does a private AI system cost?
Most engagements start with a fixed-scope audit. Hardware is a one-off cost and open-source models carry no per-seat fees. You get a clear number before any build work begins — and you keep the hardware and the stack either way.
Can AI really run my whole business?
No — and you should not want it to. We automate specific workflows where AI is reliable, keep humans on the decisions that matter, and measure the result. The goal is leverage, not abdication.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. We build the interfaces, document the system and train your team. If you can use email, you can use the systems we deploy. For technical teams, we hand over the repository and the runbooks.
